Beschreibung Casale San Marco
Inmitten der grünen und sanften Hügeln Umbriens liegt der agritouristische Bauernhof San Marco, ein entzückendes Landhaus nahe wunderschöner mittelalterlicher Städtchen wie Montefalco und Bevagna.
Montefalco ist für seinen Wein, den berühmten Sagrantino, und die Fresken von Benozzo Gozzoli bekannt. Die Altstadt von Bevagna ist im Juni Schauplatz des "Mercato delle Gaite". Das Landhaus ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Exkursionen in nahegelegene berühmte Kunststädte von großem kulturellen und religiösem Interesse wie Assisi, Spello, Todi, Orvieto, Gubbio, Perugia, Spoleto, Norcia und Cascia.
Relaxen in unberührter Natur ist an unserem Schwimmbad angesagt, das von typisch umbrischen Olivenbäumen umgeben ist.
Unsere kleinen Gäste hingegen können im Obstgarten und im Hof des Landhauses spielen und herumtollen. Die Appartements sind elegant mit Möbeln aus traditionellen Materialien eingerichtet und bieten den Landhausgästen höchsten Komfort. Sie sind mit Küche, Badezimmer, Schlafzimmer, Kamin und autonomer Heizung ausgestattet, die nötige Bett/Badwäsche während des Aufenthaltes ist inkludiert.
Der Weinbau ist hier sicherlich eine der ältesten Traditionen, dessen edelstes Produkt der berühmte "Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG" ist.
In der ehemaligen Kirche San Francesco, in der heute das Stadtmuseum untergebracht ist, sind Fresken von Benozzo Gozzoli mit Szenen aus dem Leben des heiligen Franz von Assisi und von Perugino zu bewundern.
Montefalco steht für Kunst, Kultur, Gastronomie und Natur und wurde als einer der interessantesten Orte Italiens klassifiziert.
